Mission
The CICS prepares students to be professionals in field of
Information Technology and Computer Science. Upon completion of
their respective programs, students are expected to:
- Have undergone training in abstract and analytical processes;
- Have developed personal and interpersonal skills;
- Have acquired technical understanding in their major field of study;
- Have been grounded in appropriate concepts and principles;
- Have the capacity to adapt to the work environment.
Objectives
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program aims to:
- Prepare students to be IT professionals and researchers, and to be proficient in designing and developing computing solutions.
- Instill professionalism and high regard for ethical standards and continuous improvement.
- Develop interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in collaboration with team members and clients maintaining focus on high-quality work.
- Develop the totality of students as IT professionals, through the behavioral and social science.
- Develop cognitive capabilities relating to specific task and practical skills specific to Information Technology
- Establish track record of creative research that will prove useful to them, both in industry and in securing admission to graduate program.
The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology programs aims to:
- Prepare students to be IT professionals, be well versed on application installation, operation development, maintenance and administration, and familiar with hardware installation, operation and maintenance.
- Instill professionalism and high regard for ethical standards and continuous improvement
- Develop interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in collaboration with team members and clients maintaining focus on high-quality work.
- Develop the totality of students as IT professionals through the behavioral and social sciences
- Develop cognitive capabilities relating to specific task and practical skills specific to Information Technology
- Establish track record of project experience that will prove useful to them, both in industry and in securing admission to a graduate program.
